When I work with residential clients I enjoy being able to incorporate old items with a few new things to create and entirely new and fresh space. This wonderful family has been through a lot this past year. I worked with them a year ago on a room for their new addition, baby girl Charlie, while Dad was away in Iraq. As they planned for his return home, they moved into a new home and asked me to help furnish and decorate the entire house.

The family is renting this duplex and did not want to paint the walls since they are not sure how long they will be in this home. We paired existing furniture and decorative accessories with new furniture, window treatments and area rugs in bolder colors to create interest and a design all their own, all while keeping in mind that they will soon have a todler walking around and needing plenty of space to play.
