a summer of design

Some of my summer projects - from paint consultations to shopping for furniture and accessories for a first time home buyer to the renovation and expansion of a dental office, it was a fun summer of design.
Baby Charlie's room - a soothing and sophisticated baby room that will be a seamless transition back into an office/guest room when Daddy returns from Iraq and Mommy and baby move out of the grandparents home.

The challenge for a first time home buyer - incorporating pieces that you have with new pieces to complete a home, while on a budget. This townhouse had great architectural features to work with - beautiful hardwood floors, molding, and a great neutral paint color throughout. Bright colors mixed with fun patterns add life and excitement to this young nurse's first home.

This young couple has a lot of character and a love for pattern, color, and texture. They are very crafty and enjoy adding personal touches to everything they can. We worked to develop a color palette to work throughout the house and incorporate all of the couple interests from sports to the beach and now are working room by room to bring the vision together.
